Parisian indie electro duo, Montmartre mark the release of their second EP ‘Out of Violence’ with a new music video. Featuring a slew of sun-kissed disco edits, the latest single from Montmartre has been remixed by the likes of Louis La Roche and Fever 105, while Sweden’s own Tobtok remix is currently racking up over 100K plays on SoundCloud.
Filmed against Iceland’s desolate landscape, Montmartre’s new music video unfolds in direct opposition to the upbeat melody of this catchy song. Referencing the subversive lyricism to ‘Out of Violence,’ the M+R directed music video produced by Noside, follows one man’s desperate attempts to escape the darkness haunting his life. Sweeping cinematography and 3-D effects capture the sensation of being chased by one’s fears against an icy winter backdrop.
The latest EP from Montmartre follows the success of their debut single ‘Inside of Me’ as well as an official remix of Bob Marley’s “Is This Love,” which now has over 5 million Spotify plays.
