The DGTL Festival 2015 kicks off the Dutch festival season during the Easter weekend. This year DGTL Festival will feature an incredible twelve stages, including hostings from Ellum – Maceo Plex’ label for deep, dirty and beautiful music – and the legendary Berlin Imprint Innervisions.
The 2-day programme has weighted the line-up evenly over 6 stages and explores multiple sounds within the deeper end of electronica. Eighty of the most acknowledged artists – such as Dixon, Âme, Jamie Jones, Mano le Tough, Ten Walls, Kölsch. David August, DJ Koze and Job Jobse – take over the impressive NDSM-Docklands venue in Amsterdam.
All 6 stages for the two-day festival are built with an eye on the future, creating some pretty original settings for the visitors. There won’t be any tents at the festival-site. Even the bars and foodstands and are built by DGTL itself. Much attention and effort will be focused on the visual and light-show experience at the stages, giving the music another dimension.
But there will be much more to be gazed at this time around, with DGTL ART playing a key role in the experience this weekend. The jury of the DGTL Art Collective would like to thank all the artists, designers and free spirits for their inspiring submissions for the Kinetic Art Pitch. A selection of the best ideas is made and the winner will be presented next week: A Kinetic installation that will blow you away.
Tickets have been selling fast but at the time of writing this there are still some day-tickets, weekenders and chalets available. You’d better start designing your ultimate DGTL-weekend now!
